Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the sunroof actuator to the sunroof module.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the sunroof actuator bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sunroof actuator bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the sunroof actuator.

  3. Remove the sunroof timing pins.
  4. Install the front screws to the sunroof window panel. Refer to Sunroof Window Replacement .
  5. Check the sunroof for proper operation.
  6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (Rendezvous) or Headliner Replacement (Aztek) in Interior Trim.
