Installation Procedure

  1. Tie the string to the front sunroof drain hose at the sunroof module.
  2. Install the front sunroof drain hose, by pulling the string from the front door hinge pillar access hole and routing the front sunroof drain hose through the windshield pillar.
  3. Remove the string from the front sunroof drain hose.
  4. Connect the front sunroof drain hose to the sunroof module front spigot.

    IMPORTANT: The lower end of the front sunroof drain hose (1) must be positioned to the outside of the rocker panel reinforcement (2) or water will drain into the interior of the vehicle.
  6. Position the lower end of the front sunroof drain hose (1) to the outside of the rocker panel reinforcement (2).
  7. Inspect the front sunroof drain hose for proper routing.
  8. Install the carpet back into the original position.
  9. Install the front door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (Rendezvous) or Headliner Replacement (Aztek) in Interior Trim.
