Installation Procedure

  1. Install the flywheel to torque converter bolts.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Use the J 37623 to hold the flywheel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 63 N.m (47 lb ft).

  5. Install the torque converter cover. Refer to Torque Converter Cover Replacement (LA1)  or Torque Converter Cover Replacement (LY7) .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
