Repair Procedure

- Use solvent to clean the leak area.
- Use compressed air to dry the area.
- Follow the manufacturer's recommendations to mix a sufficient amount of GM P/N 1052533, or equivalent, epoxy cement.
- Use a clean and dry soldering acid brush to apply the epoxy cement while the transaxle case is hot.
- Allow the epoxy cement to cure for three hours.
- Start the engine.
- Repeat the fluid leak diagnosis procedures.
CAUTION:
Epoxy adhesive may cause skin irritations and eye damage. Read and follow all information on the container label as provided by the manufacturer.
