Removal (4.0L)

Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the air deflector. Remove the oil filter adaptor. Disconnect connector of the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor to be removed. See Figure. Remove the CKP sensor retaining bolt. Remove the CKP sensor. Inspect the CKP sensor "O" ring for wear or damage. If a problem is found, replace the "O" ring.
