Removal (4.0L)

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector. See Figure. Remove the cable bracket bolts and bracket. Remove the MAP sensor from the intake manifold.
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector. Inspect the MAP sensor grommet for wear or damage. Replace grommet as necessary.
