Removal (3.5L)

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove mounting the 2 mounting nuts from the injector sight shield (top engine cover). Lift the injector sight shield off the mounting studs by lifting at the front of the cover. Remove the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor from the intake manifold. See Figure.
  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector. Inspect the MAP sensor grommet for wear or damage. Replace grommet as necessary.
