Removal & Installation

Remove mounting the 2 mounting nuts from the injector sight shield (top engine cover). Lift the injector sight shield off the mounting studs by lifting at the front of the cover. Disconnect the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) solenoid valve harness connector. See Figure or Fig 1 . Remove the vacuum hoses from the AIR solenoid. Remove the nut securing the AIR shut off solenoid to the AIR shut off solenoid bracket. Remove the AIR solenoid valve. To install, reverse removal procedure.
