Removal & Installation (3.5L)

  1. Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump is located under front left side of vehicle. See Fig 1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove the left fascia extension. See Fig 2.
  2. Compress the pinch clamp and remove the outlet hose from the pump. Remove the inlet hose from the air pump. Remove the air pump nuts. Reposition pump to gain access to the electrical connector. Disconnect the pump electrical connector. Remove the pump from the vehicle. Transfer parts as necessary.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten air pump nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
