WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue and 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Ensure the radiator drain cock is closed. Slowly fill the cooling system with a 50/50 mixture of Dex-Cool® coolant and deionized water. Start the engine. Install coolant pressure cap. Place the heater and A/C control in any A/C mode except Max and the temperature in the highest setting. Allow the engine to continue idling until the lower radiator-to-water pump hose is hot. Turn the engine off. Allow the engine to cool to outside temperature. Ensure the coolant level in the surge tank is at the proper level.
