Installation Procedure

Install the seat belt retractor into the T-slot in the center pillar.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the seat belt retractor bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt retractor bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
Install the seat belt intermediate guide to the center pillar.

Install the seat belt intermediate guide bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt intermediate guide bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Place the anchor plate to the seat stud.
Install the anchor plate nut to the seat stud.
Tighten: Tighten the anchor plate nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
Install the center pillar lower trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Lower Center Pillar in Interior Trim.
Place the seat belt guide loop to the guide adjuster bracket.

Install the nut to the seat belt guide loop.
Tighten: Tighten the seat belt guide loop nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
Close the seat belt guide loop cover.
