Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear No. 2 seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear No. 2 (Buick) in Seats.
  2. Fig 1: No. 2 Rear Seat Belt Guide Loop

  3. Open the cover from the seat belt guide loop.

  5. Remove the bolt from the seat belt guide loop.

  7. Remove the pillar trim panel from the vehicle.
  8. Remove the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (Rendezvous) in Interior Trim.
  9. Remove the lower anchor bolt from the seat belt.

  11. Remove the bolts from the cargo tie-down locations.
  12. Pull the rear quarter trim panel away from the vehicle.

  14. Remove the bolt (1) that retains the rear seat belt to the body.
  15. Remove the seat belt retractor from the vehicle.
