Removal Procedure

Release the park brake.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

Loosen the park brake cable equalizer nut in order to remove the park brake left side cable from the park brake equalizer.

Remove the rear park brake cable retaining nut and bolt.
Remove the park brake cable from the park brake actuator.

Drill out the 2 rivets (1) retaining the park brake cable to the rear crossmember.
