Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the left rear park brake cable and adjustment stud assembly from the equalizer assembly by removing the equalizer nut from the adjustment stud.

  4. Disconnect the front park brake cable (1) from the right rear cable (3) at the connector clip (2).

  6. Remove the equalizer assembly from the front park brake cable. Use a flat bladed tool to release the assembly from the cable.
