Removal & Installation (3.1L & 3.4L)

Disconnect spark plug wires from the ignition coil(s). Note the position from which the wires are removed. Remove 2 screws securing the ignition coil to the ignition control module. Remove the ignition coil. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ignition coil screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Reconnect spark plug wires. See Fig 1 .
