Removal (2.2L)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, 2002 Oldsmobile Alero, and 2002 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: For calibration purposes, several different style Idle Air Control (IAC) valves are used. Ensure replacement valve has the same part number as original valve.

Remove air cleaner outlet resonator, air cleaner intake duct and vent hose from throttle body. Disconnect harness connector from IAC valve. Remove IAC valve and seal from throttle body assembly.
