Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Steering Gear Heat Shield & Mounting Bolts

  2. Remove the steering gear heat shield bolts.
  3. Remove the steering gear heat shield.
