Installation Procedure

  1. Position the drive belt tensioner to the engine.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolts.

    Tighten: 

    1. Tighten the drive belt tensioner center bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
    2. Tighten the drive belt tensioner outer bolts to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

  4. Install the idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement .
  5. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
