Diagnostic Aids

This DTC does not infer a problem with the crankshaft position sensor or ECM.

This DTC indicates that the ECM had detected engine speed greater than the fuel cutoff limit in Drive. This DTC is most likely caused by the driver placing the transmission in a low gear while driving down a steep grade. Since this DTC does not turn on any telltales, verify and attempt to duplicate the customer concern if one exists.

Clear this DTC out of ECM memory.
