Installation Procedure

  1. Install the NEW water outlet seals.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the water outlet and the water outlet bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the water outlet bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the power steering reservoir and the power steering pressure hose bracket to the water outlet. Refer to Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LY7) in Power Steering System.
  4. Install the upper radiator hose to the water outlet. Refer to Radiator Hose Replacement - Inlet (LA1)  or Radiator Hose Replacement - Inlet (LY7) .
  5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
