Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Radiator Outlet Hose

  2. Reposition the hose clamp at the water pump housing using the J 38185  . See Special Tools and Equipment .
  3. Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the water pump housing.
  4. Reposition the hose clamp at the radiator using the J 38185  . See Special Tools and Equipment .
  5. Disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
  6. Remove the radiator outlet hose.
