Removal Procedure

Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .

Reposition the hose clamp at the radiator using the J 38185 . See Special Tools and Equipment .
Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the radiator.
Reposition the hose clamp at the thermostat housing using the J 38185 . See Special Tools and Equipment .
Disconnect the radiator inlet hose from the thermostat housing.
Remove the radiator inlet hose.
