Diagnostic Aids

If P0562 is set, diagnose that DTC first. See DTC P0562 & P0563: SYSTEM VOLTAGE LOW OR HIGH .

Possible reasons for P1682 to set are:

Loss of power to the main relay or a faulty main relay.
ETC fuse open.
Low battery voltage.
