Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the 12-volt power supply fuse.
  2. Remove the 12-volt power supply receptacle by placing one side of the "T" portion of J 42059  into the tab window. Angle the other side into the opposite tab window. Pull the 12-volt power supply receptacle straight out.

  3. Remove J 42059  from the power supply receptacle.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the power supply receptacle.

  5. Using your index finger, pull out the power supply retainer.
