Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the front seat to the studs on the floor pan.
  2. Connect the seat electrical connectors.

  3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the nuts to the seat floor pan studs.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front bucket seat adjuster-to-floor pan nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

    Inspect the front bucket seat for proper operation and adjustment.

  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 .
