Installation Procedure

  1. Place the rear seat back pivot stud to the rear seat pivot point.
  2. Install the seat back to the pivot point. Press the seat back into the socket until fully seated.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the bolts to the seat back recliner hinges.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  6. Install the lower J-hook retainer.
  7. Install the trim panel to the seat back. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat Back .
  8. Install the outer trim panel to the seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat (Bucket)  or Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat (Split Bench) .
  9. Inspect the seat back for proper operation.
  10. Install the split bench seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear 50-50 Split .
