Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the back from the front seat. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Front .
  3. Remove the headrest. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat .
  4. Remove the armrest. Refer to Armrest Replacement - Front Seat .

  6. Separate the J-hook retainer at the bottom of the seat back cover.

  8. Position the cover end flaps for access.
  9. Remove the side air bag from the front seat. Refer to one of the following procedures:

  11. Separate the seat back cover from the front retainer at the side impact airbag.

  13. Separate the seat back cover from the rear retainer at the side impact airbag.
  14. Separate the hook and the loop retainers securing the seat back cover to the pad.

  16. Remove the seat back cover by pulling the cover up and over the pad.

  18. Remove the hog rings which secures the cover to the pad.
  19. Remove the cover from the pad.
  20. If the cushion is damaged, replace the cushion.
  21. Remove the seat back heater element.
