Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient air temperature sensor.

  4. Use J 38778  to disconnect the wiring harness retainer which secures the ambient air temperature sensor to the hood latch support.
  5. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the wiring harness retainer.
  6. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the vehicle.
