Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: Do not touch the adhesive backing.
  1. Remove the backing tape from the underside of the spoiler.
  2. Install the rear spoiler to the liftgate, pressing into place until the adhesive is fully seated.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the nuts to the rear liftgate spoiler.

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear liftgate spoiler nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Install the rear liftgate spoiler water channel.
  5. Install the liftgate trim. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Aztek)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Rendezvous) .
