Installation Procedure

Position the liftgate hinges with the shims and seals to the location marks on vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
Install the nuts to the liftgate hinges.
Tighten: Tighten the liftgate hinge nuts to 33 N.m (28 lb ft).
Install the liftgate. Refer to Liftgate Replacement (Rendezvous) .
