Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the fuel filler cap to the fuel filler door.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Position the fuel filler door to the vehicle.
  3. Install the fuel filler door screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fuel filler door screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the fuel filler pocket. Refer to Fuel Filler Pocket Replacement (Aztek)  or Fuel Filler Pocket Replacement (Rendezvous) .
  5. Install the fuel filler cap.
  6. Close the fuel filler door.
