No Drive & Reverse

The following are possible causes and corrections for this condition:

• The variable drive belt assembly is damaged or broken - replace variable drive belt assembly.
• The forward clutch piston spring is bent or damaged - replace forward clutch piston spring.
• The input shaft assembly is damaged or has a broken tooth - replace input shaft assembly.
• The input shaft assembly pinion gear thrust washer(s) are damaged or worn causing excessive end play and interference with other components - replace input shaft assembly.
• The sun gear has worn or broken teeth - replace sun gear.
• The forward and reverse clutch valve is worn or stuck in the exhaust position - replace forward and reverse clutch valve.
• The forward and reverse clutch valve spring is worn, sticking or damaged causing the valve to be stuck in the exhaust position - replace forward and reverse clutch valve spring.
• The bore plug retainer for the forward and reverse clutch valve is damaged or installed incorrectly - replace bore plug retainer.
• The bore plug for the forward and reverse clutch valve is worn or damaged - replace bore plug.
• The bore plug seal for the forward and reverse clutch valve is missing or cut - replace bore plug seal.
• The manual valve is worn, sticking or binding - replace manual valve.
• The line "1" pressure regulator valve is worn, sticking or binding - replace line "1" pressure regulator valve.
• The line "2" pressure regulator valve is worn, sticking or binding - replace line "2" pressure regulator valve.
• The line "2" pressure regulator valve spring is worn, sticking or damaged - replace line "2" pressure regulator valve spring.
• The bore plug seal for the line "2" pressure regulator valve is missing or cut - replace bore plug seal.
• The line limit valve is worn, sticking or binding - replace line limit valve.
• The line limit valve spring is worn, sticking or damaged - replace line limit valve spring.
• The actuator feed limit valve is worn, sticking or binding - replace actuator feed limit valve.
• The actuator feed limit valve spring is worn, sticking or damaged - replace actuator feed limit valve spring.
• The variable ratio control valve lever assembly is worn, sticking or binding - replace variable ratio control valve lever assembly.
• The variable ratio control valve spring is worn, sticking or damaged - replace variable ratio control valve spring.
• The control valve body spacer plate has worn or plugged fluid passages - replace or flush spacer plate.
• The control valve body is clogged with debris or sediment - replace or flush the control valve body.
• The control solenoid valve assembly is clogged with debris or sediment - inspect control solenoid valve assembly replace as necessary.
