Conditions For Setting DTC

DTC P0964 will set if the TCC PC solenoid control circuit is open or shorted to voltage when:

DTC P0965 or P0966 has not set.
Condition exists for greater than 1.3 seconds on 2002 models and 3.5 seconds on 2003 models.
Engine speed is greater than 500 RPM for at least 5 seconds.
Ignition voltage is 8-18 volts.

DTC P0964 diagnostic runs continuously when the above conditions have been met. DTC P0964 is a type "B" DTC.
