Conditions For Setting DTC

DTC will set if TCC is commanded off and TCC slip speed is less than 3 RPM for 80 percent of the tested values when:
- DTC P0705, P0716, P0717, P0722, P0723, P0741, P1758, P1779, P1888, and P1889 have not set.
- Engine torque, throttle position angle, and accelerator pedal position angle signals are valid.
- Engine speed is 500-2000 RPM.
- Accelerator pedal position angle is 3 percent or less.
- Change in accelerator pedal position angle since start-up is less than 2 percent.
DTC P0742 diagnostic runs at engine start-up when the above conditions have been met. DTC P0742 is a type "B" DTC.
