Removal Passenger-side

  1. Before proceeding, See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
  2. Remove instrument panel trim pad. See INSTRUMENT PANEL UPPER TRIM PAD . Remove air bag module mounting fasteners. Remove air bag module from instrument panel cross-beam. See Figure.
