Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EGR pipe to the exhaust manifold.

    Tighten:  Tighten the EGR pipe nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  2. Install the EGR pipe and the EGR pipe bolt to the EGR valve.

    Tighten:  Tighten the EGR pipe bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Use the floor jack in order to raise the frame and powertrain until the frame contacts the underbody rails.
  5. Install the frame bolts. Refer to Frame Replacement - Front (W/AWD)Frame Replacement - Front (W/FWD) in Frame and Underbody.
  6. Remove the jack stands.
  7. Lower and remove the floor jack.
  8. Release the parking brake.
