Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Position the EVAP canister purge valve on the intake manifold and install the retainer bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the EVAP canister purge valve retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  2. Fig 2: Connecting Vacuum Supply Hose To The EVAP Canister Purge Valve

  3. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe and the vacuum supply hose.
  4. Connect the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector.
