Installation Procedure

Replace the O-ring, if it is damaged. Lubricate the O-ring with clean engine.

Install the sensor to the block.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the sensor attaching bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 11 N.m (97 lb in).
Install the sensor electrical connector.
Install components that were removed.
- For front-wheel-drive vehicles, install the right tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tire and Wheel.
- For all-wheel-drive vehicles, install the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement in Engine Exhaust.
Lower the vehicle.
Perform the CKP System Variation Learn Procedure. Refer to CKP System Variation Learn Procedure .
