Installation procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Align the switch to the opening in the steering wheel.
  3. Push the switch into the steering wheel.

  5. Install the steering wheel rear bezel (1).
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the retaining screws (2, 3) to the steering wheel rear bezel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  8. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
  9. Enable the SIR System. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
