Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the purge valve solenoid to the intake manifold.

    Tighten:  Tighten the purge solenoid bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the purge line to the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid.

  5. Disconnect the purge valve solenoid electrical connector.

  7. Connect the purge line to the purge valve solenoid.
