Installation Procedure

  1. Install the CMP sensor.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the CMP sensor bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Connect the CMP sensor electrical connector (1).
  6. Install the power steering pressure hose as necessary. Refer to Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement (LA1) or Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement (LY7) in Power Steering System.
