Installation Procedure

  1. Align the locating pins and the retainers from the upper trim panel to the slots in the I/P.
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Sun Load & Ambient Light Sensors

  3. Install the DRL ambient light sensor. Refer to Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Ambient Light Sensor Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  4. If equipped, install the sun load sensor.

  6. Push forward and down on the upper trim panel to lock into place.
  7. Install the windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
