Removal Procedure

  1. Open the instrument panel (I/P) compartment.
  2. Remove the screws from the I/P compartment hinge.
  3. Remove the I/P compartment door from the I/P.
  4. Remove the lower I/P compartment trim panel.
  5. CAUTION: Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.
  6. Drill out the rivets holding the I/P compartment hinge to the I/P panel.
  7. Remove the I/P compartment hinge.
