Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Remove the right headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement (Aztek) or Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement (Rendezvous) in Lighting Systems.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient air temperature sensor.
  4. Use J 38778  in order to remove the push-in retainer which secures the ambient air temperature sensor to the radiator core support. See Special Tools and Equipment .
  5. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor from the vehicle.
