Installation Procedure

  1. Install the seat belt to the slot into the center lower trim panel.

  3. Align the center lower trim panel to the center pillar.
  4. Install the center lower trim panel push-in retainers, applying pressure at all the retainers locations until fully seated.
  5. Install the seat belt escutcheon to the center lower trim panel, applying pressure at all the retainers locations until fully seated.
  6. Install the upper seat belt guide loop attachment to the adjuster bracket. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Right Front (Pontiac) in Seat Belts.
  7. Install the front seat belt to the front seat. Refer to the following procedures in Seat Belts:
  8. Install the front and rear door sill plates. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front  and Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear  .
