Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Mark the location and the color of the wires to the electrical socket before removing the wires.
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (LA1) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (LY7) in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the conduit from the center pillar.
  3. Disconnect the rear door wiring harness electrical connector.

  4. Disconnect the wire harness retainer from the wiring harness socket.
  5. Remove the wiring harness wiring one at a time from the socket.
  6. Remove the rubber conduit from the rear door.
  7. Remove the wiring harness wiring from the rubber conduit.
