Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
IMPORTANT: Protect the trim panel at the point of insertion of the flat bladed tool to avoid damaging the door panel.
  1. Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the mounting plate for the power window switch. Insert the tool at the rear of the mounting plate and release the retainer.

  2. Lift the rear of the switch plate.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  4. Remove the power window switch from the mounting plate.
