Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Aztek)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Rendezvous) .
  2. Use a small flat-bladed tool to release the clips at the top and the bottom of the door lock switch.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.
  4. Remove the switch.
