Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Aztek)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Rendezvous) .
  2. Remove the mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement .
  3. Remove the mirror motor screws.

  4. Pull the mirror motor out from the mirror housing to gain access to the mirror motor electrical connectors.

  5. Disconnect the mirror motor electrical connectors.

  6. Remove the mirror motor from the mirror housing.
