Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Record all of the customer's radio station presets.
  2. Turn off all the lamps and accessories.
  3. Turn the ignition OFF.
  4. Fig 1: Identifying Battery Ground (Negative) Cable Terminal

  5. Loosen the battery ground (negative) cable terminal nut.
  6. Remove the battery negative cable from the battery.
